Privacy Policy

Who we are

Slitz is operated by F.D.S., LTDA., Calle Noventa, Avenida Doce, Sabana Oeste, Mata Redonda, San Jose, Costa Rica (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information described here. To reach us about privacy, use the contact form (choose “Something else”).

What we collect, and why

• A device ID. A random number stored in a cookie on your device the first time you visit. It lets us recognise the device, keep your place, count visits and spot abuse. It isn't linked to your name.
• Your IP address and rough location. Our host tells us the country, region, city, time zone and network your IP address belongs to (never your exact position). We use it to keep Slitz secure, to stop Premium codes being shared, to follow the law where you are (see “Where Slitz isn't available” below) and for our own statistics.
• Your device and browser. The type of device, its model where the browser shows it, the operating system, the browser and its language — to make the site work on your screen and to understand our audience.
• What you watch. Which dramas and episodes you open, how long you watch, where you skip or stop, and what you bookmark or follow. We use it to let you carry on where you left off, to choose what to show you next, and to see what works.
• Your answer to the 18+ question. To keep a record that the device confirmed its user is an adult.
• Your e-mail address, if you give it. When you sign in with e-mail, secure a Premium code, pay by card, contact us or report something. We use it to sign you in, send your code and receipts, answer you and deal with reports. We don't verify it and don't send you marketing from it unless you asked for it.
• Premium and payments. Your Premium code, the plan, the amount and the time. For crypto payments, the sending wallet address and the transaction, which are public on the blockchain anyway. For card payments, the name on the card and your e-mail; the card number goes to the card processor and never reaches us.
• What you send us. Messages in support chat, reports (with any name, e-mail and details you add) and the requests you make with Create and Edit.
• Partner offers. If a partner we work with (for example the Wombat game platform) e-mailed you an offer from Slitz, that partner gave us your e-mail address, your username there and your rough location so the e-mail could be sent. We record whether the e-mail arrived and was opened or clicked, and what you then did on Slitz, to measure the offer and pay the partner its share. Every such e-mail has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Affiliates. If you run an affiliate account, the details you give us and your payouts, as set out in the affiliate terms.

We don't knowingly collect sensitive information such as government ID numbers, and we never ask for your ID.

Cookies and storage on your device

We use only first-party cookies and your browser's own storage, never advertising or cross-site tracking cookies:

• slitz_vid — the device ID above (1 year).
• slitz_access — keeps a device signed in to Premium (30 days).
• slitz_18 — remembers your answer to the 18+ question (1 year).
• slitz_resume — where you stopped watching, so Slitz can open there next time (14 days).
• slitz_lang, slitz_theme, slitz_scheme — your language and look (1 year).
• slitz_ref, slitz_wb — which affiliate or partner e-mail brought you, so they can be credited (1 year).

Your viewing progress, bookmarks and settings are also kept in your browser's storage so the site is fast. Clearing your browser data removes all of it. Our host also runs an invisible security check that tells real browsers from bots; it doesn't track you across other sites.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run Slitz, for that purpose, under their own privacy and security terms:

• Vercel — hosts the site and the videos, and runs the security check.
• Upstash — our database.
• Resend — sends our e-mails.
• Our card processor — takes card payments.
• The Solana network — crypto payments are public on the blockchain by design.

Partners and affiliates see totals (how many people arrived, started a trial or paid), not who you are. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people or our rights, or to a buyer of our business, which would be bound by this policy.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We don't track you across other websites, so there is nothing for a browser's “Do Not Track” setting to switch off; we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request not to sell or share, which we don't do anyway.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it to run Slitz, keep it secure and stop abuse, and for as long as the law requires for payment records. When you ask us to delete your information, we do, except what we must keep by law. Anything stored in your browser stays there until you clear it.

Your choices and rights

• Ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or for a copy of it: use the contact form (choose “Something else”). We answer within 30 days and may need to check the request is really from you, for example with your Premium code or from your e-mail address.
• Unsubscribe from any e-mail with the link at its foot.
• Clear your cookies and browser storage at any time; Slitz still works, it just forgets you.

Depending on where you live — for example California, other US states with privacy laws, the EU or the UK — you may have further rights, such as to object to or restrict how we use your information, or to complain to your data-protection authority. We won't treat you differently for using them.

Security

Connections to Slitz are encrypted, access to our systems is limited to the people who need it, and payment and sign-in details are protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and would tell you, and the authorities where required, if a breach put it at risk.

Adults only

Slitz is only for adults, 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has used Slitz, tell us and we will delete their information.

Where Slitz isn't available

Several US states require adult sites to check every visitor's ID. We don't collect IDs, so Slitz isn't available in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming. We use the rough location of your IP address to apply this, and we don't send offers to people we know are there.

Where your information is processed

Our service providers store and process information mainly in the United States. By using Slitz you understand that your information may be handled outside the country where you live, with the protections described here.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above changes when we do, and if a change is significant we will say so on the site before it applies.
